The Loft is an exciting new development currently under construction, scheduled for completion in the summer of 2025. Located at the corner of 4th Avenue and 7th Street Southwest, this project is a key component of Calgary’s office to residential conversion strategy. Situated on the border of the Eau Claire neighbourhood, the project is ideally positioned near the Bow River and surrounding parks, making it an excellent location for residential use.


The Loft involves the conversion of existing office space into 56 residential suites. This transformation will provide a mix of modern living spaces tailored to meet the needs of urban dwellers. Each suite will be designed with contemporary amenities and finishes, ensuring a high standard of living for residents. In addition to the residential suites, The Loft will feature a public amenity space that includes a café
on the main level. This café will serve as a social hub for both residents and the local community, fostering interaction and a sense of community. On the second level, building amenities for residents will include a fitness space. The fitness space will be equipped with modern exercise equipment, while the events room will provide a versatile area for social gatherings, meetings, and other activities.


The strategic location of The Loft, combined with its modern amenities and thoughtfully designed living spaces, positions it as a highly desirable residential option in downtown Calgary. By converting underutilized office space into vibrant residential units, The Loft not only contributes to addressing the city’s housing demand but also plays a crucial role in the revitalization of the Eau Claire neighbourhood. This project exemplifies the potential of adaptive reuse in urban development, creating a dynamic and sustainable living environment in the heart of Calgary.
